No more Flip/Flipgrid. 😢 Try an Adobe Express Gallery instead!
Nothing will really ever replace Flip/Flipgrid - but an Adobe Gallery gets close. Check out the get started video linked here and get kiddos sharing their work with each other.
*NOTE: if you are wanting students to upload a video, we recommend either of these approaches:
Option 1 - Less complicated - Students record within Adobe Express.
Students open a new video project in Adobe, outside of the gallery. They go to Add content --> Media --> Videos --> Record yourself. Once students record their video WITHIN Adobe Express, they can then go back to the Adobe Express Gallery, click on Add Files --> Your Stuff --> And select the video as a recent project.
Option 2 - Brand new! Easiest option! - Student ensure they download the innate screen recorded file as an mp4 (instead of a webm)
When students open the Chromebook camera, they should now see the option to adjust the resulting video file to an mp4.
They can record their video, make sure to adjust the format to MP4, then download. Then, they can just upload the resulting file from their Drive to the Adobe Gallery.
